Nightlife @ TIMBRE

WELCOME TO NIGHTLIFE @ TIMBRE!

Descriptions:
After a busy day hanging around the urban Singapore, the next thing that goes into your mind would be

where shall i eat?

Of course, Singapore cuisine is another favourite for both the locals and tourists.Visitors to Singapore often enjoy specialities that can be locally found in the hearts of every Singaporean  (Chili Crab, Chicken Rice, Curry Chicken, Stingray, Nasi Lemak etc)

HOWEVER, Those mention above are all traditional Singapore cuisines that are commonly available in any heartland and towns. Furthermore, Singapore has a wide varieties of food due to her ethnic diversity. To cover all or most of the food within 1 blog post would be short-changing every reader. As such, yoursingapore-nightlife blogger team would like to introduce another perspective about Singaporeans' favourite food* in a western way.

And Again, there are hundreds of western cuisine stall in Singapore. For every 10 hawker centre/ coffeeshop you walked into, almost 9 in 10 will have a western stall.

But what if, this "western stall" consist of music bands, beers, delicious buffalo wings (most western stall sells chicken wing, not buffalo wings), Cool atmosphere, open all night til 2am?

Introducing Timbre!

About Timbre:
Timbre Group started out in July 2005 with only 1 outlet that is across the road of Singapore Management University(SMU) The founders of Timbre are passionate about supporting Singapore Musicians. This platform attracted number of music loving audience in a short period of time.

Timbre now have 3 live music bar and restaurants, Timbre mobile ( catering services) , 3 Cocktail bars and Beer Garden Coffee House. They also have organise Beerfest and music events. Above F&B concepts, they even had a music academy that grooms young talents.

What we say:
Fascinating by their awe-inspiring concepts, the team went to Timbre 1st Music bar & restaurant outlet @ Substation.

Accompanied by buffalo wings, potato wedges and their special half and half pizzas, we are all craving for even more food. Their duck pizza crust is really crispy and delicious. Their hamburgers are presented neatly and the patties are perfect when you are biting it.

However, their customer service can be further improved if they can respond to our enquries efficiently.

By using the RATER model to rate the service quality :

Reliability: The promised food quality provided by Timbre is high as they really provide good quality food for their customers.

Assurance: The trust and confidence provided by Timbre is low. They let us wait for quite a bit of time when we requested for more napkins and glass of water.

Tangiblity: High Tangiblity. Good music, good atmosphere. However, the area can be well ventilated or sheltered as some area are can get wet when it rains. Good to install more fans in the area.

Empathy: High Empathy. One of the front-line staff did ask us about the food quality and whether we had enjoyed ourselves that night.

Responsiveness: Low responsiveness. We have to asked for our glass of water 3 times before receiving it.

Average spending per person: 20-30 SIN dollars exclusive of alcohol.
Overall: Above Average service. Worth going! :)

Get captivated by the breathtaking night view of the Singapore River by taking a river cruise/taxi ride along the river.

What we say:
The team went on a field trip and we took some photos to share our joy with all the readers. The Vibrant nightlife around Clarke Quay area are tempting us to miss the last public transport and to forget about all of our worries.

If you like the vibrant music and lifestyle, go near to the pubs and clubs near this area. If you prefer a quieter place for a heart to heart chat with your friends, we would suggest that you can choose to seat near Central Shopping mall

You can get to see the beautiful lightings. Furthermore, we are nearing to Christmas and there is a white Christmas tree outside Central shopping mall for you to take photos. :)

For a cosy chill-out and delicious dinner by the river,we recommend The Tapas Tree which serves a great variety of delicious tapas. From cold tapas like Marinated olives with garlic  or  Smoked salmon with capers, olives and lemon  to warm tapas like Baked king prawns in a creamy garlic & cheese sauce  or  Sautéed potatoes with Spanish sausage.
Other than tapas, you can also try their fabulous Paellas.
To end the dinner with a sweeter note, the warm Churros served with chocolate dip is a must! Other all time favourites include Caramelised custard and Bread pudding with sugar and cinnamon.

Not forgetting the live Spanish performances that keep the ambience alive!
Prices are not too high, worth it for the sumptous food and romantic ambience.
